I love mindmeister and being able to save attachments to nodes is great. I actually like the pink and blue'ness but, I use the maps at work and people always think I'm doing something non work related when I have my maps open. I get comments like 'taking a break to surf are we?, on your lunch?'. They seems to associate the colours with me not doing work. I know this is weird but if only I could choose some more sober colours I could far more easily use mmeister at work, hey, I would even use it to present my projects in meetings. If I could choose the style of the way the map links, maybe making it more angular and businesslike that would be great too but, colour options for a start would be marvellous!

Hi Tony! It's actually not possible to send an email to a link. However, you can send a link TO an email. To do this, under the links panel option, select 'Advanced'. A new dialogue box will open with three options at the top, 'URL', 'Topic', and 'Email Address'. Enter the email address you'd like to link to in the text field. Clicking 'OK' will then associate a mailto: link with your selected node.

Thanks for the comment Greg.

While I can neither confirm nor deny that folder options are in the works, I can say.......stay tuned! :)

I like what you are doing with mind mapping, an ability to create folders for mind maps would be great because if you have lots of mmps you can have pages of them to go through to find the one you need.

Thanks

Hi Mutawa. Good point. Since this video is already up and in circulation, I'll leave it as it is. Point duly noted though, and in future tutorials I'll leave the music out. Thanks for the comment!

nice tutorial but if you can please remove the music I can better concentrate and will look like any other educational clip like what we see in net.g or Lenda, ... etc, Educational clips with background music are closer to an advertisement than to and tutorial.
