Startpage
You can start working either logged in or without using a MindMeister account.
If you want to synchronize your mind maps with your MindMeister account you have to login to your account.

Map List (Online)
If you choose to login you will see your stored online maps.
Tap on your desired map to edit it.

Map List (Local)
Your maps will be saved local on your iPhone and automatically synced to your Online MindMeister Account.

If you choose to work without logging in or you are currently not connected to the interent you can sync your Mind Maps later after logging in or connection your iPhone to your data service / wifi.

Press + in the local map list to start working on a new mind map.

Advanced Info
An advanced info view will be presented to you after tapping on one of the right blue arrows in your map list.

This view includes your collaborators, tags and gives you the option to share your map or add this map to your favorites.

Favorite Maps
MindMeister gives you the possibility to create an extra favorites list to access your prefered maps a lot faster.

You can add a map to the "Favorites" tab by using the advanced info in the map list or the advanced menu in the mapview.

Pending Maps
MindMeister automatically syncs your mind maps with our online service.
If you aren't logged in or disconnected to your data network, MindMeister adds this maps to the pending view to sync them later.

Geistesblitz
Geistesblitz adds your spontanous ideas to your default mind map.

By using Geistesblitz you can jot down your ideas on the run and will never miss a good idea.

Account Settings
If you want to login to your account or change your username you can do all that stuff in the "Account" tab of our app. You can even upgrade your basic account or extend your premium account here.

Mapview
By tapping on a map in your local map list or creating a new one, MindMeister switches to the map view which enables you to edit your mind map.
Tap on one node to mark it. You are now able to create siblings (by tapping twice on the + icon in the toolbar), move it per drag&drop or edit it per double-tap. To expand a parent node tap once on it after marking it.

New Node
When creating a new node you will be prompted to add a node text. After typing your text just click on done and you will be back in the map view.

Toolbar
You can add new child nodes by tapping once on the + icon and new siblings by tapping twice on the + icon.
You can recenter your map by clicking the center icon.
To delete a node just mark the node and click on the trash icon.
The advanced menu gives you extra options to your mind map.

Advanced Menu
The advanced menu gives you the possibility to add your map to your "Favorites" tab and to share your mind map with you colleagues and friends.

Share Maps
You can share your mind map with everybody using an email address. By clicking on the + icon you can invite people from your built-in iPhone contacts.
By toggling the "Read-only" switch you can set your invitation to view only.
