6. Week 14: Implications of medications & surgical treatments for exercise rehab; arthroplasty; spinal surgeries.
7. Week 4: Assessing client movement capabilities; posture, body mechanics & gait assessment; neurological testing; gait aids; chronic pain.
8. Week 5: Functional anatomy and rehabilitation of the head, chest cage, cervical, thoracic & lumbar spine; red flags.
9. Week 6: Functional anatomy and rehabilitation of the pelvis; obstetrics.
10. Week 1: EPs and the braoder rehab team; ethical obligations; evidence-based & outcomes-based rehabilitation; psychological considerations; inter- and intra-session red flags.
11. Week 2: Examination & assessment for rehab; concepts of healing including primary & secondary healing; role of exercise during the healing phases; creating the rehab program.
12. Week 3: Achieving the goals of rehabilitation including restoring ROM & flexibility, proprioception, muscle strength & endurance, plyometrics, functional & performance-specific rehabilitation; maintaining aerobic conditioning; manual muscle testing.
