Types of Conditioning.
by Nathalie Joya
1. Conditioning is a type of learning that links some sort of trigger or stimulus to a human behavior or response.
2. What is a conditioning?
3. an example of classical conditional can be when we go to the pediatrician, in the office there are two children one of them is about to be injected by the doctor and the other child is watching that moment, the injected child starts to cry and the one who is witnessing the moment begins to have panic to the doctor and no longer wants to inject. in this case the child not injected immediately reacted with panic to the doctor and no longer wanted to inject to see the other child cry.
4. What is Classical conditioning?
5. Classical Conditioning is a learning process that occurs when two stimuli are repeatedly paired; a response that is at first elicited by the second stimulus is eventually elicited by the first stimulus alone.
6. What is Operant Conditioning?
7. Operant conditioning can be described as a process that attempts to modify behavior through the use of positive and negative reinforcement. Through operant conditioning, an individual makes an association between a particular behavior and a consequence

9. In operative conditioning we have:
10. Reinforcers: Responses from the environment that increase the probability of a behavior being repeated. Reinforcers can be either positive or negative.
10.1. Punishment: Responses from the environment that decrease the likelihood of a behavior being repeated. Punishment weakens behavior.
11. An example of positive reinforces can be: After you execute a turn during a skiing lesson, your instructor shouts out, "Great job!"
11.1. An Example of positive punishment can be: Your cell phone rings in the middle of a class lecture, and you are scolded by your teacher for not turning your phone off before class.
12. An example of negative reinforces can be: To remove the bad smell from her body, Erin takes a shower.
12.1. An example of negative punishment can be: Mary’s tv time was cut by 20 minutes because she did not listen to her Mom.
