1. And advantage for using hardware in the classroom such as a screen monitor is being able to incorporate more then one screen at a time allowing teachers to spread the topics being discussed in the classroom as opposed to trying to fit all of the information into one screen. A disadvantage when using a screen monitor could be that monitors have low refreshing ability known as the flickering effect. This lowers productivity because the user has to wait for some time for the monitor to respond to a command. The flicker effect can also make you lose interest when performing computing tasks that require heavy software application.

2. The benefits and challenges of using an input device in the classroom could be using a scanner. A scanner uses a lighting system to capture images and documents. Scanners can capture clear and concise images, more defined pixels than a digital camera. On the other hand, scanners also use a huge amount of memory space. And though scanners capture a detailed image, it is not always at the right angle or position, which in turn calls for more review and editing.

3. When using an output device such as a projector in the classroom an advantage would be it can project output to a larger audience as compared to the limited displayed size of a monitor. A disadvantage when using a projector could be that they require being used in dark rooms for clarity to be achieved. Trying to use a projector in the light can cause students to not be able to view what is on the projector and even possibly causing strain on the eyes.

4. The difference between hardware and software is that hardware is any physical device used in your machine, whereas software is a collection of code installed onto your computer's hard drive. For example, the computer monitor you are using to read this text and the mouse you are using to navigate this web page is computer hardware. The Internet browser that allowed you to visit this page and the operating system that the browser is running on is considered software.

5. Software

5.1. Software is known as programs or apps, consists of all the instructions that tell the hardware how to perform a task. Software is capable of performing many tasks, as opposed to hardware which can only perform mechanical tasks that they are designed for. Software provides the means for accomplishing many different tasks with the same basic hardware.

5.1.1. System software: Helps run the computer hardware and computer system itself. System software includes operating systems, device drivers, diagnostic tools and more. System software is almost always pre-installed on your computer.

5.1.1.1. An advantage of using application software in the classroom would be that software make teaching-learning more interesting and goal oriented. A disadvantage of using application software is finding software that needs to be carefully chosen in order to ensure that what the students are learning is educating them at the same time keeping their attention so they are not bored.

5.1.2. Application software: Allows users to accomplish one or more tasks. It includes word processing, web browsing and almost any other task for which you might install software.

6.1. Hardware refers to the physical elements of a computer. This is also sometime called the machinery or the equipment of the computer. most of a computer's hardware cannot be seen; in other words, it is not an external element of the computer, but rather an internal one, surrounded by the computer's casing.
