1. Trades

1.1. The most recent NHL trade deadline was on the 26 of February 2018. The trade deadline is the end of the time wear you can trade players.

1.2. During the Trade deadline there are a lot of trades that go on and usually big trades happen during.

2. Equipment

2.1. Players wear equipment to prevent from getting an injury. Equipment includes a stick, skates, pads, helmets etc.

2.2. Equipment is different between players and goalies. Goalies can customize their helmets for their team and make it look cool. The helmet designs change for each team.

3. Teams

3.1. Some teams are good teams, teams win a lot of wins and are called playoff teams. The same teams are usually at the top of the standings.

3.2. There are also bad teams, teams that are usually at the bottom. These teams usually get a high draft pick which results in a good player.

4. Draft

4.1. The NHL entry draft is an event that allows teams to draft new players into the league. When you get a good draft pick it usually means you get to pick one of the top five best players in that years draft.

4.2. The best draft year is said to be in 2003. every player selected in the first round went on to play an NHL game. Many players from this draft became all stars.
