1. What is Forensic Anthropolgy?

1.1. Forensic Anthropology is the application of the anatomical (relating to bodily structure) Science of anthropology and its various sub fields, including forensic taphonomy (study of how organisms decay and become fossilized) in a legal setting.

2. What do forensic anthropologists do?

2.1. Forensic Anthropologists commonly testify in court as an expert witness. Using physical markers present on a skeleton, Forensic anthropologists can potentially determine a victims age, sex, stature, and ancestry. They can also use skeletal disformalities to potentially determine cause of death,past trauma, as well as past diseases such as bone cancer.

2.2. What is forensics used for? 1) Is studying the human body the only thing they do? 2) Can I use what I know about forensic anthropology to help me in my everyday life or when certain events occur?
