1.1. Definition: This type of testing assist in the determination of students individual weaknesses, strengths, and knowledge prior to given instruction. These assessments will help to lead and guide the teachers lessons and planning.

3. Defintion: These types of test evaluate students to understand where they are in the learning process. This determines if students are on the right track and could potentially determine how students perform on future assignments.

4.1. Definition: This type of testing is probably the most used through out teaching. This allows teachers to adjust, monitor, and direct student learning throughout/during a lesson.

6.1. Definition: These test evaluate and measure student success at the END of the learned unit.
