Social Media Pages - Lauren and I created social media pages for our artist as this will allow us to promote our artist.

1. Instagram - Lauren and I created an Instagram page for our artist, when coming up with types of social media sites we should create an account for, we immediately felt Instagram would be effective. We felt that Instagram would be the most effective social media platform as it is increasingly popular especially with teenagers, which is our target audience. Additionally, Instagram is very visual which would be helpful in promoting our artists image.
2. Twitter - We felt that we should also create a Twitter page. This was because Twitter is popularly used within our target audience and Twitter is easy to update details on.
3. Why? In today's society, social media is a crucial role to advertisement. There are multiple factors as to why this is the case;
3.1. - You can promote your product/company for free as all social media sites are of no cost
3.2. - Your advertisement can be seen anywhere as there is no barrier to who can see your social media
3.3. - People can share the post to their friends and gain a larger audience
3.4. - It is very easy to post and create an advertisement for social media
3.5. - You can respond to people very quickly
4. Snapchat - Furthermore, we felt that we should create a Snapchat account for our artist as this is a popular platform and allows an audience to see what out artist is doing during the day and constantly be updated.
5. In order to advertise these social platforms, we included our artist's social in the top corner of our tour poster in order to get audience recognition and start a following.
