1. Financial Department
1.1. Responsible for tracking Facilities & Security Capital spend and related management reporting.
1.2. Provide Executive Management with summary reports identifying changes between forecast versions, and also actual versus current forecast.
1.3. Assist the Senior Manager on special projects, as assigned.
1.4. Identify process improvement opportunities and assist with implementation efforts for departmental projects/initiatives.
1.5. Partner with operational and accounting contacts to manage the budgets/forecasts for the Human Resources and Administration groups.
2. Marketing Group
2.1. Managing team budgets including the processing of all invoices/POs/payments to vendors.
2.2. Coordinating monthly delivery of promotional assets for key affiliate accounts.
2.3. Compiling and distributing required account and sport specific updates and information needed for broader departmental communications.
2.4. Collaborating with internal stakeholders to assist in the creation and presentation of marketing plans and client/internal presentations.
2.5. Participate in the usage and management of digital marketing tools, including the AZ (Affiliate Zone website), Brand Builder, and CRM (database and list building).
3. Production Department
3.1. May be responsible for leading special projects or will be a part of special projects, as assigned.
3.2. Acts as the primary liaison with close technical support groups to resolve technical and operations problems.
3.3. Ability to multi-task, manage competing priorities and work in a fast paced environment is a must.
3.4. Directly responsible for and influences the context of ESPN’s defined technical operations policies, objectives and outcomes.
3.5. Participates in planning with the various Production Departments as well as all other ESPN clients to ensure the adequacy of technical facilities and staff to achieved targeted results.
4. Legal Department
4.1. Maintains current knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws and of industry legal standards and norms; analyzes how these might impact ESPN.
4.2. Manages outside counsel in their representation of ESPN on litigation and other legal matters.
4.3. Operates within the context of defined corporate strategies.
4.4. Conceives and recommends strategies and initiatives to minimize the legal risks of current operations and proposed actions.
4.5. May directly supervise, on a non-exclusive basis, one or more Paralegal and Legal Assistant colleagues.
5. Employee Relations Group
5.1. Creates and delivers training for employees and managers relating to employee policies and legal issues.
5.2. Analyzes ER data/metrics for themes, trends and root cause identification. Share findings with key partners.
5.3. Engage with ER team members across The ESPN Company to assist with advancing case work and other ER initiatives as needed/directed.
5.4. Participates in establishing Human Resources/Employee Relations strategy and influences assigned client group strategies.
5.5. Acts as liaison between managers and employees regarding performance issues and management (e. g. performance improvement plan process).
