1. Due process is met if the notice is reasonably calculated under all the circumstances to apprise interested parties of the pendency of the action and afford them an opportunity to present their objections

2. Form

2.1. What is reasonable under the circumstances to notify the parties to the lawsuit.

2.1.1. If the identity and address of an interested party are known or obtainable through reasonable efforts, notice through in person delivery, registered mail retrun receipt requested, or some other means likely to notify the particular individual is required.

2.1.1.1. If plaintiff knows defendant did not receive notice , the plaintiff cannot proceed unless there are nor reasonable methods to notify the defendant

2.1.2. If the identity or address is NOT obtainable through reasonable efforts, Other means (publication) may be sufficient.

2.1.3. If an agent is appointed, either by contract or statue, the defendant will not be subject to PJ if the agent fails to advise defendant of service.

2.1.3.1. Not applicable to Defendant choosing own agent.

3. May be personal or substituted

3.1. Personal= in person

3.2. Substituted= Constructive Notice or Notice by publication
