1. The main differences between L1 and L2 depends on the age, context, and in different ways of learning

2. Age

2.1. People learn the L1 when they are babies and continue through their lives.

2.2. People are motivated to learn the language because they want to communicate.

2.3. People learn it by exposure and picking it up, so by being hearing it all the time

2.4. People learn by interacting with their families, and also by talking, listening and playing with it.

2.5. People get to practice and experiment with the language.
