1. Perspective : Personal credit, Issue: Financial loss. Stolen identity can be used to drain bank accounts, open new credits, or open illegal businesses. This can financially disadvantage the individual, as creditors may charge them.

2. Perspective: Social behaviour, Issue: Distrust in Institutions. Rise of identity theft may cause distrust in the population as they might be scared to give out personal information to institutions including hospitals and banks that needs them.

3. Perspective: Crime, Issue: Difficulty tracking criminals. As criminals such as drug dealers are using stolen identities, police and governments are having a hard time tracking down perpetrators, and might falsely arrest individuals.

4. Perspective: Social behaviour, Issue: mental health. Victims of identity theft might be traumatised after events such as false arrests. Moreover, victims may also feel anxious or stressed as they are aware that someone else has access to their personal information; and depressed due to the financial loss from identity theft.

5. Perspective : livelihood , issue : harm in life condition . The victim of identity theft will be arrested by law enforcement if someone using their name to commit crimes. Although the name was cleared , the arrested record still pop up on background check. It is a highly stressful event that will affect their life from employment to their house options.

6. Perspective: business, Issue: collapse of small medium corporations. Identity thieves may steal business owner’s information and hack business’s financial accounts or even having a debt under the company’s name. Small medium business corporations which usually has limited capital might fall into financial crisis.

7. Perspective: economy, Issue: loss of business partners. Since the multinational companies might not willing to give out their corporation’s information for license registration. The current investor my also gradually lost trust on their business in certain country. As a result, there will be a risk losing business partners, thus, business sector has a risk of decline.

8. Perspective: Human rights, Issue: Privacy of information. Identity thieves can hack into government, hospital, corporation, and personal databases to retrieve personal information of victims, thus committing breach in privacy.

9. Perspective: Social relationships, Issue: harm in reputations. Identity thieves using false identities to do illegal activities may cause harm in others reputations, as they are falsely arrested or received false criminal records. Moreover, reputations may also be harmed when hackers access victim’s social medias.

10. Perspective : physical symptoms. issue : physical illness. Thieves that have the social security number and may be able to access the medical benefits and even have an impact on medical records. This can lead to a significant consequence when people are under a physician care and providers do not have the correct information. Wrong information cause wrong remedy. It may have many problems, from bad sleep to bad mood.

11. Perspective: international status, Issue: damage of international reputation. The increasing crime rate on identity thefts might create a false image of the country. A negative image that personal information would easily be stolen might be created in people’s mind from rest of the world.
