Renewable Energy by Mind Map: Renewable Energy

1. Benefits

1.1. Combat climate change because it does not generate direct emissions of gases

1.2. This means that availability is infinite, they will never be exhausted

1.3. Natural resources are not depleted and have minimal impacts on the environment

2. Disadvantages

2.1. The majority of renewable energy sources experience ups and downs depending on the weather

2.2. The solar plants, the wind fields, require extensive surfaces for their construction.

2.3. Is dificult to generate power than the fosils power depend of some facts, for example solar energy.

3. ¿What Is Renewable Energy?

3.1. It is the energy that uses the inexhaustible resources of nature.

4. ¿What are the types of renewable energy?

4.1. Eolic Energy: The wind is a clean, free, and readily available renewable energy source.

4.2. Hydraulic Energy: is obtained from the use of the kinetic and potential energies of the water current

4.3. Biomass is a renewable energy source not only because the energy in it comes from the sun, but also because biomass can re-grow over a relatively short period of time compared with the hundreds of millions of years that it took for fossil fuels to form.

4.4. Solar Energy: is obtained from the use of electromagnetic radiation from the Sun.

4.5. Geothermal Energy: It is stored under the earth's surface in the form of heat, like volcanoes
