1.1. Meaning

1.1.1. When groups of people speaking different languages come together and intermix, a common improvised second language and it may becomes their native language.

1.2.1. Kinubi, based on the Arabic language and spoken in Uganda

1.2.2. Kikongo-Kituba and Lingala, which are based on Kikongo-Kimanyanga and Bobangi

1.3.1. People from different country can communicate and understand each other better.

2. Pidgin

2.1. Meaning

2.1.1. Pidgin is used for communication between people not sharing a common language.

2.1.2. Pidgins have a limited vocabulary, some elements of which are taken from local languages

2.2. Examples

2.2.1. Lagos pidgin: spoken by the indigenes of Lagos.

2.2.2. Benin pidgin: spoken by the Benin people of Edo state

2.3.1. Just like creole, Pidgin makes people understand each other better

3. Official language

3.1. Meaning

3.1.1. The language that is approved by the government of a country.

3.1.2. Taught in school, used in legal and official documents.

3.2.1. English in America

3.2.2. Chinese in China

3.2.3. Italian in Italy

3.3. Why it's important?

3.3.1. It is important to have an official language so that the people who are living in this country have a common language to communicate with each other.

3.3.2. Our public facilities should be in the language that is the primary language of the country so that the most amount of people can understand it.

4. Native language

4.1. Meaning

4.1.1. Native language is the language that a person has spoken from earliest childhood.

4.2. Why it's important?

4.2.1. Maintaining this language helps people to understand culture and heritage.

4.2.2. By encouraging native language use, parents can prepare the child to interact with the native language community.

4.3. Examples

4.3.1. Our native language is Vietnamese

4.3.2. His native language is English

4.3.3. It depends on each person
