9.1. World war 1

9.1.1. Forming allies can draw the country into a broader conflict.

9.1.1.1. When the US is involved in world affairs to a large extent it is hard to be neutral if a major conflict breaks out.

9.2. The world did not learn anything because WW2 had the same causes as WW1

9.3.1. America tried to contain communism

9.3.1.1. Contain and idea is very challenging and it can lead the US into conflicts in wars.

9.4. Vietnam War

9.5. The Paris peace accords ended peace with Vietnam this was signed on january 27th 1973

9.5.1. Japanese forces invaded Vietnam. To fight off both Japanese occupiers and the French colonial administration, political leader Ho Chi Minh,inspired by Chinese and Soviet communism formed the Viet Minh, or the League for the Independence of Vietnam.

9.5.1.1. More than 3 million people ,including over 58,000 Americans were killed in the Vietnam War, and more than half of the dead were Vietnamese civilians.
