2.1. During the Vietnam war President Nixon promised that he will archive peace and restore order at home. Nixon did not keep his promise but instead lied to the people and the soldiers saying things were going well and when really they wern't at. The lesson learned from this was that people started to not trust the government in making decisions and looking out for the people.

15. One big issue that the soldier had at Vietnam was that they were not told what they were fighting for and they felt like they didn't have a real reason to be there. The lesson learned from this was that if the American soldiers don't believe in what they are fighting for then there will be protest, rebellion, and a break in the American population.

15.1. A big problem with the soldiers at vietnam was that they would capture certain marks that were over run with enemy troops and abandon it shortly after. An example of this would be Hamburger Hill, the American troops spent days trying to capture this objective and once they finnaly did they abandoned it shortly after and it just got overrun by enemy forces again,
