8.1.1. when the U.S is involved in wolrd affairs to a large extent it is hard to be nuetral if a major conlict break out

8.1.2. forming allies can draw the country into a border conflict

8.2.1. the organization made it so other countries could get the military help they needed and stopping aggressive actors in the world stage.

8.3.1. in order to stop communism we need to fight in a war

8.3.2. just because you think your goal is just it wont be easy to get it and it is tough

8.4.1. VIETMANIZATION -the u.s supported the south and they were criticized for getting into war and they tried to get the south Vietnamese to handle themselves against the north and that is what lead to them to get taken over by the north. the military didn't learn much form that because they did the same thing in later war

8.5. vietnam war

8.5.1. the Americans had a camp that they were taken to relax and to get a break for the war and mostly for motivation to keep fighting the war. government learned that the soldiers needed some motivation to keep fighting

8.6. vietnam war

8.6.1. some battles like the battle of hamburger the Americans helped the south take the hill and after they took it they left and after the north took back the hill. we learned that we need to stay stationed. on important spots to keep ground places.
