Hey ___, How are you today?- That is great to hear! Before we get things going, I am just going to verify a couple things with you.

1. If previous carrier is default coverage or above: Okay, the default limits that are showing on the ipad screen are 100/300 do you think you would want to stick with those limits, or do you think you would need more? Changing the limits could also affect the rates you see.

2. Verify Previous coverage: It looks like you were with___ previously? - Okay, and it looks like your previous coverage was ___/___ and ___ for property damage?

3. Verify address and ask about Renters/Homeowners: Do you by chance currently have a renters/Homeonwers policy with your current auto policy carrier?

4. They had renters/Homeowners: That's awesome! I will go ahead and include Renters/Homeowners in this quote so we can maybe get you a multi-policy discount!

5. If previous carrier is under default coverage: The rates you see on your Ipad are for 100/300 which is the most common coverage. If you like the rates you see so far, we can stick with that, otherwise we can adjust them, but that could affect the premium, and it may not cover you for what you need if there is an accident.

5.1. Liability Coverage: Liability is what insurance pays in case you are at fault for an accident. As I said, the most common coverage is 100/300. 100,000 is the per person amount, and the 300,00 is the max amount they will pay for one accident. Say there is an accident and you put 2 people in the hospital. even just a few weeks in the hospital can cost hundreds of thousands. it would cover up to $100,000 for each of those people.

6. They didnt have renters/ homeowners: Okay no problem, the only reason I ask is because combining the two can sometimes qualify you for a multi-policy discount and save you a lot in the long run. What I'll do is run a quote without it, and then add in -Policy- to see what the price difference may be and see if that works for you.

6.1. Homeowners policy: Combining your Auto and home policy can be very beneficial. Both policies would be in one spot and in most cases you can make one payment to one place, rather than multiple payments to multiple companies. It can also qualify you for discounts to lower your overall rates.

6.2. Renters policy: A renters policy would take care of all of the property in your apartment in the case of theft, fire etc. so that you can replace those items. Sometimes adding in renters insurance can cost less overall compared to just an auto policy.
