1. Apportionment for the House

1.1. The apportionment of seats in the House of Representatives is based on the relative population of each state, whereas the apportionment in the Senate is based on equal representation for every state.

2. Terms & Requirements for Senators and House of Representatives

2.1. ~Senate: They must be at least thirty years of age, a U.S. citizen for at least nine years, and residency in the state a senator represents at time of election.

2.1.1. ~House of Representatives: Each representative must be at least twenty-five years old, have been a citizen of the United States for the past seven years, and live in the state they represent.

4.1. The legislative branch drafts proposed laws, confirms or rejects presidential nominations, has the authority to declare war, and enacting laws of the Constitution.

5. Standing Committees in Senate

5.1. The Armed Services is one standing committee. This is a committee of the United States Senate empowered with legislative oversight of the nation's military, including the Department of Defense. Another standing committee would be Commerce, Science and Transportation. This committee is empowered with legislative oversight of the Coast Guard and Merchant Marine, interstate commerce, communications, highways, etc.

7.1. Congress consists of 100 senators (2 from each state) and 435 members of the House of Representatives.

10.1. The president has the power to veto/reject the laws that Congress pass and propose/give ideas about laws. Also, the president gives the federal budget to the House of Representatives. The Supreme Court can use the judicial review to rule presidential actions that they are not in accordance with the political constitution.
