1. Medusa was seduced by Poseidon. In response, Athena turned her into a monster with snakes as hair, turning anyone to stone who looked at her.
2. After Medusa was beheaded by Perseus, Pegasus came out of her.
3. One day, Bellerophon tried to fly Pegasus to Olympus. To prevent this, Zeus sent a horsefly to bite Pegasus so Bellerophon would lose control, falling back to earth.
4. Pegasus continued to fly to Olympus where Zeus received him.
5. Currently he transports thunder bolts for Zeus who placed his figure as a constellation in the night sky.
