Story: Is greatly known for his \"rape of Persephone\" where he carries her off and forces her to marry him.Hades kidnappes Persephone to the underworld and asks her to become his queen, but she refuses. She refuses to eat anything until she was returned to the overworld. Then one day Persephone\'s mom came looking for her and she was no where to be found. Finally Zues declared that Hades had kidnapped her and taken her to the overworld, so he sent the messenger Hermes to take Persephone back to the overworld with her mother. Then when Persephone saw Hermes she was delighted and she ate 3 seeds of a pomegranite because of her hunger. Unfortunatly she did not know that she would have to stay a month in the underworld for every seed she ate. So for 3 months, Persephone goes to the underworld to be the Hades\'s queen and every other 3 months she stays with her mother happy and thankful. Every time Persephone goes to the underworld, the plants and lush fruits become rotten and start to die which still goes on today in the fall and the winter, but at the times when she is with her mother in the overworld the plants are happy and grow plentifully which is in the summer and spring.
