1. The Europeans took the survivors of the deceases as slaves

1.1. they took them away from their natural habitat into cities and places that they weren't used to.

1.2. after many generations of not living in the Easter Island the Rapa Nui forgot that they were from there.

2. Harsh conditions on the island

2.1.1. caused a decrease in population not a total wipe out of it

3.1. they cut down the rat's habitats and by that they destroyed also their habitats.

5.1. the people who lived there needed to have better transportation through out the island because the wanted to get to places with more ease.

6.1. there were too many people and not much natural resources.

6.2.1. the population was growing too fast and the amount of resources couldn't keep up with the speed that everything was happening. As a result the population soon starved to death.

7. Europeans brought deceases

7.1. outsiders came into the small island (mostly from Europe) and brought with them deceases that the Rapa Nui couldn't cope with.
