1.1. A Summative assessment is to evaluate on what/how the student is learning at the end of the quarter or year. This can include projects, tests, ext.

2. Performance

2.1. A Performance Assessment is where a teacher has a student do more of a hands on assessment rather than just an answer a question assessment. This can help show what they know while voicing it rather than a multiple choice exam.

2.1.1. Closing Question: Devise a way to explain and create your own food chain.

3. Diagnostic

3.1. A Diagnostic Assessment is where a teacher can test a student to see what struggles or disabilities they may have. This can help the teachers when lesson planning and how to differentiate for their students.

4. Formative

4.1. A Formative assessment can have a variety of methods to complete them. This is where students may show progress throughout the lesson as well as providing activities to gain better understanding.

5. Interim/Benchmark

5.1. A Interim/Benchmark assessment is where students can be tested on what they have learned so far. This can be in a variety of ways for example; standardized testing or the end of quarter exams that students may take.
