ADHD

1. There is no formal test for ADHD. Diagnosis is done by a Doctor or Psychologist after 2-3 visits.

2. Communication is vital between the student's family and school e.g. sharing any pertinent information regarding changes in medication dosage

3. Consistency is key between home and school

4. The child's teacher will assist in filling-out a questionnaire based on classroom observations and using report cards.

5. Diagnosis is only made if the symptoms are affecting home and school life.
