Data from various sources such as Feeds, Systems and applications, Data warehouses, and Unstructured data is ingested into the data platform using Kafka/Flume/Sqoop and Other APIs.

The Data platform stores the data in HDFS and provides various features such as Search, Data Science, NLP, Transformation and Analytics, Data Management, etc. using various technologies as illustrated.

The data is then consumed for analytics by Apache Spark/ Python. The data can also be consumed by other systems such as BI apps, APIs and chatbots.

Several business applications like fraud detection, data exploration and discovery, marketing optimization, etc. can be built based on this architecture.
