1.1. apply/begin new jobs at Vanderbilt clinical informatics or clinical analyst positions in order to gain computer programming and coding experience while still staying at my current hospital
1.2. Will be working with a team which will give me a chance to increase my relationship management score (currently 87) and overall social competence
2. 6 months
2.1. Join American Nurses Association
2.2. Benefits: opportunities for continuing education increased career options discounts on certifications, books, CE belong to a network of supportive nurses
2.3. will give me a chance to increase my personal competence score (currently 88) by working on self management during stressful situations (new jobs, new certifications etc) and self awareness
3. 5 years
3.1. Maintain up to date certifications retake emotional intelligence test to see if scores have improved continue to thrive in current position and make career advances as they come available
4. 1 year
4.1. American Health Information Management Association Certification: Certified Coding Associate

5.1. ANA Informatics Nursing Certification (RN-BC) requirements: completed 30 hours of continuing education in informatics nursing within the last 3 years. 2 years full-time as a registered nurse current, active RN license minimum of 2,000 hours in informatics nursing within the last 3 years
