1. Dream trips, and some dream gifts, require a great deal of planning to make sure we take care of all the details. The organization wants the child and their family to be able to enjoy the dream as much as possible without having the dream unduly complicated by the child’s medical situation. Careful coordination with Sunshine’s home office and the family helps ensure all the preparations are made to meet the family’s expectations and the child’s needs.

3.1. The Sunshine Foundation of Canada makes dreams come true for children living with severe physical disabilities or life-threatening illnesses. Our vision is that every Sunshine child lives their dream. Sunshine's values: Employing integrity, compassion and respect in everything we do, and having the courage and commitment to achieve our goals.

Sunshine Dream Programs are once-in-a-lifetime experiences for kids that ignite a sense of newfound independence, build confidence, and create joyful memories that will stay with them for the rest of their lives. By having their dreams come true, kids are inspired to keep dreaming, are willing to try new things, and have a more positive outlook on life.
