1. Zinc Chromate

2. Gray Enamel Undercoat

2.1. Single component, variety of topcoats

4. Epoxy

4.1. Is a sinthetyc resin, and produces hard coatings.

4.1.1. Softer than Urethane. Provides good chip resistance.

4.1.2. Needs catalyst.

5. Wash Primers

5.1. Water-thin coatings of phosphoric acid solutions in resin, alcohol and other ingredients.

5.1.1. They passivate the surface, inhibit corrosion and provide an adhesive base for the next coating.

6. Urethane

6.1. Two-part product

6.1.1. Uses a chemical activator

6.1.2. Must be applied smoothly to prevent coat thickness shrinkage.

6.1.2.1. Normally applied after wash primers.
