1. Objective 1; Students will be able to read and paraphrase what they've read
1.1. Learning Activity; In small groups, students will write a short skit to reenact what they've read
1.1.1. Assessment; Students will come up with their own alternative ending to a story based on the events in the story
2. Objective 2; Students will be able to analyze and illustrate their understanding of a reading
2.1. Learning Activity; After reading, students will be asked to use photos and drawings to explain the book.
2.1.1. Assessment; Students will be asked to rewrite an assigned reading in their own words to demonstrate understanding and comprehension
3. Objective 3; Students will be able to connect multiple readings and compare and contrast between them.
3.1. Learning Activity; When given two related, yet different stories, students will be able to make a venn diagram about the two stories
3.1.1. Assessment; Students will read a book as a class, then find their own book that relates to the class book, and do a book report over it, explaining how it relates
