1.1. bullying can make people develop anxiety or depression at a young age

1.2. bullying can also contribute to students wanting to commit suicide

1.2.1. although bullying can contribute to suicidal thoughts, it is not the only factor

2. bullying happens often

2.1. bullying happens at every school at every age

2.2. 1 in 3 children are bullied in the U.S. alone

2.2.1. Most bullying happens at the middle school level

3. Why kids bully

3.1. So that they can feel superior to the other kids

3.2. To get the attention that they've been lacking

3.3. they have difficult home lives and take it out on other children
