2.1. o 5.PS.1 Describe and measure the volume and mass of a sample of a given material.  For growing a classroom garden, they can weigh the mass of the dirt. For volume they can measure the pot they get. o 5.LS.1 Develop a model to describe the movement of matter among plants, animals, decomposers, and the environment. o For this standard we are looking at sunflowers and how they move.
