The Rock Cycle by Mind Map: The Rock Cycle

1. Igneous rock can become sedimentary rocks or metamorphic or other igneous rocks. They can become metamorphic with a lot of heat and pressure. They can become sedimentary rocks by being weathered eroded and cemented. They can even become other igneous rocks by melting and cooling again.

2. Sedimentary rocks can be transformed to igneous rocks by melting and cooling they can also turn into other sedimentary rocks and they can also become metamorphic rocks with a lot of heat and pressure

3. Sedimentary Rocks are made by sediments that are weather and eroded off of other rocks and the sediments are cemented by pressure to form Sedimentary rock

3.1. An example is limestone

4. Igneous Rock is formed by erupting volcanoes when magma goes out and cools which turns it into Igneous rock. If it has a lot of crystals that means it cooled fast, if it doesn't have many crystals that means it cooled fast.

4.1. An example is Obsidian. Obsidian cooled fast we know this because it does not have many crystals in it and, it is smooth.

5. Metamorphic Rocks are formed by heat and pressure when they are pushed deep down into the earth's crust then they are transformed into other rock

5.1. Metamorphic rocks can be transformed to igneous by melting then cooling or sedimentary rocks when they get weathered eroded, and cemented. They can also turn into other metamorphic rocks

5.2. An example is marble

6. Any of the rocks can turn into another rock
