1.2.1. What have you seen around your house that is a mixture? What about a solution?
1.2.2. How can you tell the difference between a mixture and a solution?
1.3. Closing Questions
1.3.1. On your own, I want you to compare and contrast the differences in what a mixture and a solution are.
1.3.2. Draw a photo of a mixture and then list out all of the different substances in it .
2. Formative
2.1. These are given to the students to gather data to see what they are learning by getting feedback from them.

3.1. These are assessments given to the students to get more data about what the students have learned. Usually given after finishing a module.

4.1. These are task for the students to complete to check for content learned. No multiple choice
4.2. Examples: Maps of learning, Presentations, Debates
5. Diagnostic
5.1. These are done before a module is started to see where the students are at and what the teacher needs to touch on.
5.2. Examples: Pre-tests, Pear Deck
6. Benchmarks
6.1. These are tests to determine where students are in their learning.
6.2. Examples: STAAR, MAPS, CFA
