1. Legislative Branch

1.1. The legislative branch has two chambers of government which includes the House of Representatives and The Senate

1.2. Members of the house to be 25 years or older, have been a U.S citizen for at least seven years and lived in the U.S

1.3. 100 people serve in the U.S senate

1.3.1. 435 serve in the House of Representatives

1.4. The legislative branch is made up of the House and Senate, known best as Congress

1.5. House of Representatives serve two years terms while Senators serve six year terms

2. Executive Branch

2.1. President must be 35 years old and be a natural born citizen and must have lived in the United States for 14 years

2.2. Powers include being able to veto, or reject, a proposal of law

2.3. Roles include, being chief executive, chief of state, chief diplomat, chief administrator

2.4. The cabinet includes the Vice President and the head of 15 head executives

2.4.1. departments — the Secretaries of Agriculture, Commerce, Defense, Education, Energy, Health and Human Services, Homeland Security, Housing and Urban Development, Interior, Labor, State, Transportation, Treasury, and Veterans Affairs

3. Judicial Branch

3.1. Applies laws in legal cases

3.2. The power to elect Supreme Court justices goes to the president

3.3. Has 9 Justices

3.4. The presiding judge in the Supreme Court is the Chief of Justice

3.4.1. Serve until they die, or resign

3.5. Have the authority to interpret the constitution
