2. IMPACTS OF SLAVERY

2.1. Africa

2.1.1. Turned Africans into kidnappers and war mongers since tribes declared war on one another and the victorious tribe would sell the opposing tribe into slavery which caused a drop of population.

2.1.2. Population decreased as many enslaved people jumped off the slave ships to escape the pain and suffering of being an enslaved.

2.1.3. The reputation of Africa greatly dropped during the Transatlantic slavery and even modern days as they were seen as an uncivilized continent solely because they were captured for slavery.

2.2. Britain

2.2.1. Popularised some trade ports of Britain (e.g. Liverpool, Bristol) as they were greatly used during the Transatlantic to send out resources in return for enslaved people.

2.2.2. Increased the economy of Britain since many business benefited from enslaved people working at tobacco plantations and many other businesses.

2.2.3. The manufacturing of some products happened since Africa provided raw materials like sugar in exchange for other resources.

2.3.1. Increased the population of African-Americans as many owners of enslaved people were abusing the enslaved and impregnate them.
