3.4.2. Jeremiah 7:31 (NLT) 31 They have built pagan shrines at Topheth, the garbage dump in the valley of Ben-Hinnom, and there they burn their sons and daughters in the fire. I have never commanded such a horrible deed; it never even crossed my mind to command such a thing!

13. WHY DOES HELL EXIST?
13.1. Hell exists for God to deal righteously with Satan
13.1.1. Rev 20:10 Then the devil, who had deceived them, was thrown into the fiery lake of burning sulfur, joining the beast and the false prophet. There they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.
13.2. Hell exists for God to deal righteously with unbelievers

13.2.1.3. People want to remake God in an image they have desgined.
13.2.2. It is impossible for God to be Holy without being just.
13.2.3. 2 Thess 1:8-9 8 He will punishthose who do not know Godand do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. 9 They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord

14. A GLIMPSE OF HELL
14.1. Luke 16:19 19 “There was a rich man who was dressed in purple and fine linen and lived in luxury every day.
14.2. Luke 16:20–21 (NLT) 20 At his gate lay a poor man named Lazarus who was covered with sores. 21 As Lazarus lay there longing for scraps from the rich man’s table, the dogs would come and lick his open sores.
