1. Sandra Cisneros Only Daughter

1.1. When writing Only Daughter her father was ill.

1.2. Her purpose of writing Only Daughter was to show the distance of her and her father when she took up English as her major. (Was published in Glamour Magazine)

1.3. At the time she was writing Only Daughter the recession was going on.

1.4. There are people like Sandra who has trouble communicating positively with their father/mother.

2. Angelica Kauffman

2.1. She refused to do "woman" work which was not acceptable back then.

2.2. While Angelica Kauffman was painting Angelica Kauffman (self-portrait), Samuel Adams was telling everyone that colonist had "natural rights."

2.3. Angelica Kauffman did not care what people thought about her when she didn't want to do "woman" work and wanted to paint instead.
