Allende's Autobiographical References in "Dos Palabras"

1. Belisa had a connection to the Colonel, who wanted her to write a speech for him, to help him become a leader.
2. Allende's cousin/"tio" was President of Chile.
2.1. When she was born her father was an ambassador to Peru
3. In one of the articles about Allende I read, she was fired from a job of translating romance novels because she would change the ending of the novels to make them more interesting.
4. Belisa bought a dictionary. After reading it, she threw it in to the sea because she wanted her customers to receive her own words and ideas, not those straight from the dictionary.
