1. Windows

1.1. Pros

1.1.1. A lot of attention has been paid to Windows 8′s support for ARM processors,

1.1.2. One of my favorite things about Windows 8 Consumer Preview is that it boots quickly

1.2. Cons

1.2.1. Windows is the most targeted operating system for viruses and other malware

1.2.1.1. New node

1.2.2. Microsoft tends to be a pure pain and you can get a run around when talking about the simplest of things.

2. Mac-OSX

2.1. Pros

2.1.1. Lion blurs the lines between desktop OS and mobile OS

2.1.2. Security is seen as being a big factor with OSX and Apple pushes the boundaries further with Mountain Lion

2.2. Cons

2.2.1. OSX is only compatible with Apple Mac computers officially

2.2.2. sandboxing effectively means that applications have to work independent of each other and will require specific permissions to carry out certain tasks

3. Ubuntu

3.1. Pros

3.1.1. Today’s Ubuntu has integrated a more casual (and touch) friendly UI, called Unity

3.1.2. First off, its side dock is actually quite useful

3.1.3. Essentially this is a smart menu system that easily groups together all your “apps” in one easy place

3.2. Cons

3.2.1. One complaint I do have is that some parts of the Ubuntu UI do feel a little sluggish from time to time,

3.2.2. Ubuntu is still not as user friendly as Windows is
