6. Stereotyping

6.1. Making prerequisite judgements

6.2. A pre-conceived judgement of a particular notion

6.3. Labeling. Misconceptions. Painting a group of people with the same paint brush! Categorizing which tags and undermines Specific groups!

6.4. An idea held about a certain group that people may have such as black peoples are aggressive, Indians own a corner shop

6.5. When someone judges someone based on their appearance or background

6.5.1. Expecting a person or group to fit a preconceived idea. This idea often comes from media or other people's views and is usually negative or filled with negative undertones

6.5.2. Biased or unfair judgement towards another person(s) based on the views of wider society

7. Discrimination

7.1. A bias and unjust treatment of a certain group of people.

7.2. Prejudice! Inequality! Suppressing diversity! Racism! Sexism! Ageism! Mistreatment of specific groups!

7.3. Being given unfair treatment and being denied an opportunity

7.4. To act on prejudice people may have about a certain group eg not giving a black person a job because you think they might cause trouble

7.5. When the actions or language used by a person(s) result in unfair perceptions toward another person(s) because of race, ethnicity, gender, social class and so on

8. Equality

8.1. Treating everyone the same

8.2. Tolerance and respect for other races, ethnicities and cultures so that decisions are based on ability and not aesthetics

8.3. Being equal. Having the same rights. Opportunities open to EVERYONE!

8.4. The state of being equal, having the same rights and being treated fairly

8.5. Everyone having access to equal opportunities and being treated the same

8.6. It’s about fairness and opportunities

8.7. Allowing all the same opportunities. (Not to be confused with equity which would actually be more effective)
