1. 1958

1.1. The U.S makes its second debut in the world scene regarding the Middle East as they bolster the Saudian Arabian Government. P.S In 1953, The U.S made their first debut with a staged Coupe to overthrow Iran's Shah with a new monarch.

1.1.1. However, this action would later be described as ill-fated as the new Shah proved extremely corrupt and even threw the nation into near economic ruin, furthermore the Shaa starved his peope.

1.1.1.1. These actions would mark the official start of The Cold War in The Middle East, as tensions stood the test of diplomacy, and began to rise.

2. 1978 - 1979

2.1. 1978 Saw that the Shaa was oveturned by the starved citizens of Iran, replacing him with the previously exiled Shaa (The Shah removed via the U.S's coupe)

2.1.1. The new Shah, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, was a radical political leader who sought to "re-strengthen" Iran. This event, and many others, eventually led to the less official start of The Cold War in the Middle East. This very conflict started due to the tense rivalry between Saudi Arabia and Iran.

2.1.1.1. President Jimmy Carter imposed extreme sanctions suffocating Iran's economy a extreme amount. This was in direct response after a group of radical students seized the American Embassy in Tehran taking hostage the people inside after the U.S permitted the exiled Shah of Iran to end the United States for Medical treatment and asylum.

3. 1987 - 1988

3.1. On the 24th of July, 1987, the first U.S escort was provided to Kuwaiti-owned tanked to protect from Iranian attacks in The Straight of Hormuz, A.k.a "The Jugular of The World."

3.1.1. Iran protests extensively, and begins furthering military operations in the straight to attempt to pressure the world relying on oil going through the straight to cease assisting Saudi Arabia.

3.1.1.1. Furthermore, the naval blockades and attacks worked to starve Saudi Arabia and its allies of money for oil exports and resources from imports.

4. 1980

4.1. September 22, 1980 is the first day of the infamous Iran-Iraq War. This day marked the declaration of war against Iran from Iraq as Iraq attempted to invade parts of Iran and annex them, primary targets were oil reserves to attempt to fund the failing Iraq economy.

4.1.1. Iran put the war in a stalemate, utilizing trench warfare and chemical warfare to hold the line before making a devestating counter attack.

4.1.1.1. Saudi Arabia began to fund Proxy Wars / Battles against Iran, and furthermore provided a great deal of money, weapons, and logistics to Iraq against Iran.

4.2. This year also marked the initial pressure on the Saudia Arabia and its allies as Iran began to "Constrict" tankers in The Straight of Hormuz.

5. 2015

5.1. In 2015, under The Obama Administration, after two years of negotians a deal known as "The Nuclear Deal" was signed between Iran prime minister Hassan Rouhani and American President Barack Obama.

5.1.1. This deal finally allowed for the economy of Iran to recover back from the red.

6. 2018

6.1. In 2018, under The Trump Administration, The United States officialy declared that it would be withdrawling from "The Nuclear Deal" seeing it as a "One Sided Deal" tensions began to reach a near boiling point again.

6.1.1. This launched Iran's economy back into a free-fall. Iran responded to this sudden abadonement by reinforcing its military dominance in The Straight of Hormuz making it clear it would continue to pressure tankers in the straight until the embargo's and sanctions were reverted to "The Nuclear Deal."

6.1.1.1. The U.S Navy and U.S Coast Guard re-instated service in the straight escorting all NATO and U.N backed or endorsed tankers traversing the straight.

7. 2020

7.1. Iran launched missles near the U.S embassy as a warning of some kind in light of the assassination of an Iranian general. The media has since painted lime light on the U.S and Saudi Arabia's push in proxy wars in Yemen and other nations in the middle east.

7.1.1. More developments are being made, tensions are reaching a boiling point and a supposed World War III almost occured due the incident regarding the embassy.
