1.1. Wear masks or face coverings when you are outside of your room.
1.1.1. Especially in the hallway and elevators!
1.2. Keep your spaces clean!
1.2.1. Especially bathrooms! (read Pitt Shines paper)
1.3. Social distance when you are not in your room or pod.
1.4. Make safe decisions that are for the good of the community.
2. Room and Suite Mates
2.1. Complete Roommate Agreement (on Roompact).
2.2. Try to solve conflicts between yourselves before you come to RA Emily.
2.3. Respect each other's space and belongings.
3. Expectations: RA to Residents
3.1. Follow Community Standards.
3.1.1. Please please please follow the Health and Safety guidelines.
3.1.2. Remember to make choices for the good/safety of our floor community
3.2. Don't give my phone number to your parents.
3.2.1. Please don't text or call after 10pm.
3.2.1.1. If there is an emergency call the RA on duty or 911.
3.3. Check your email and virtual platforms.
3.3.1. Don't miss out on important announcements or events!
3.4. Ask questions if you need help.
3.5. Reach out if you need to talk.
3.5.1. This year is going to be different...I am here if and when you need me.
4. Expectations: Residents to RA
4.1. To be able to help me if I have questions about adjusting to Pitt
4.1.1. To answer our questions
4.1.2. To assist me if I ever need it
4.1.3. To be the helping hand if necessary
4.2. To keep us safe, help us with any issues we have, and help us have a fun experience.
4.2.1. I hope that you will be available as a resource and able to connect with us on various events on campus.
4.2.1.1. That we have socially distant events to get to know one another better.
4.3. To always be there to support us as students and residents
4.3.1. I'd like to have someone who can provide some guidance in case I need it.
4.3.2. To be very supportive and kind to the transitioning freshman especially with the changes due to COVID.
4.3.2.1. Being friendly and bonding the floor together.
4.3.2.1.1. To create floor unity!
4.4. To be helpful and welcoming, but also to make the responsible choice if people aren't following the rules

5. Expectations: Residents to Residents
5.1. To social distance and keep the community healthy
5.1.1. To be as safe as possible this semester, which really just means wear a mask in public and social distance as much as possible.
5.1.1.1. To wear masks
5.1.2. I hope that the other residents respect the rules in place so that we are able to continue living safely on campus.
5.1.2.1. I expect that other residents on the floor will be respectful and follow the guidelines given to us
5.1.2.1.1. Respect the pandemic, and keep an open mind about everyone on the floor.
5.2. To be respectful of others
5.2.1. Be respectful of others sleeping
5.2.1.1. Don’t be obnoxiously loud or anything like that
5.2.1.1.1. That they are not super loud constantly so it is easy to focus on work.
5.2.1.2. Just to be quiet during quiet hours
5.2.2. Respect for others. Be it personal space, schedules, preferred terminology, whatever.
5.2.2.1. Be respectful of people’s privacy
5.2.3. Not to be inconsiderate
5.2.4. To be respectful and to adhere to the safety precautions set in place.
5.3. To have an open mindset and make our floor feel like a comfortable community
