1.1.1. Theresa May is in charge of home office policing, borders, immigration and counter terrorism. She sets the national policing plan which sets wages, recuitment and generaul policing policies.

2.1. Phil Hammond

2.1.1. Phil Hammond is now Secretary of State for the Ministry of Defence . He is in charge of the Army, RAF and the Navy. Before this he was secretary of state for transport.

2.1.1.1. He has no ministers. He is the only one in charge apart from the Prime Minister.

2.1.1.1.1. He is in charge of 101,000 soldiers, 40,000 in RAF, 35,000 in Navu and 85,000 civilian staff. He has an overall budget of £39.64 billion.

2.1.1.1.2. The only person that he has to report to is tyhhe primeminister. And no one has to report to him because he doesnt have any ministers.

2.1.2. Phil hammonds previous position was secretary of state for transport. Prior to this he held a number of shadow portfolios.
