2.2. Blues music was particulary popular among the black population, while jazz caputured the imagination of both white and young American.

4.1. during the 1920 the entreteiment industry blossomed. The average working week dropped from 47 a to 44 2 hours so people had more leisure time.

4.2. Averenge wages rose by 11 percent, so woekers also had more disposable income.

4.3. A lot of this spare time and money was channelled into entretaiment.
