1. Module 1: Physical Activity
1.1. Objective: Learners will be able to list and explain the benefits of exercise.
1.2. Objective: Using a pedometer, learners will track their daily steps and make adjustments based off their personal fitness level.
1.3. Objective: Learners will be able to identify barriers that may prevent individuals from consistently exercising.
2. Module 2: Healthy Eating and Hydration
2.1. Objective: Learners will be able to distinguish between healthy and not healthy eating habits.
2.2. Objective: Learners will be able to name healthy eating and drinking recommendations.
2.3. Objective: Using MyFitnessPal, learners will track their foot and water intake for one week and adjust their intake as needed.
2.4. Objective: Learners will be able to identify barriers that may prevent individuals from meeting dietary and hydration recommendations
3. Module 3: Consistent Sleep
3.1. Objective: Learners will be able to describe 3 factors that affect sleep quality.
3.2. Objective: Learners will assess their sleeping patterns over the period of one week and make any adjustments to their habits as needed.
3.3. Objective: Learners will be able to identify barriers that may prevent individuals from consistently sleeping.
4. Course Objectives
4.1. Assess personal eating, sleeping, and exercise patterns
4.2. List and explain potential hurdles that prevent individuals from meeting physical activity, nutritional, and sleep recommendations
4.3. Identify the benefits of healthy eating, frequent exercise, and getting enough consistent sleep
4.4. Incorporate healthier habits into one’s lifestyle
