2.1. Although fire is a naturally occurring element, it was the first man made tool and has lead to the development of many other tools. This shows that humans can turn naturally occurring elements into tools, i.e the sun can be used to generate heat.

4.2.4. Knowledge of different things can be considered a tool, but specifically math and science have allowed humans to build technological tools.
