1.3. Linguistics has two central goals

1.3.1. 1. Linguists want to accurate and complete descriptions of them.

1.3.2. 2. Linguists want to obtain information about the nature of language.

1.4. Linguistics has three central branches

1.4.1. 1. Sound

1.4.2. 2. Structure

1.4.3. 3. Meaning.

2. Literature

2.1. Literature consits of written productions.

2.2. Literature taken from Latin from the word "littera, letter or handwriting".

2.3. Literature often uses language differently than ordinary language.

2.4. Litterature can be classified according to fiction or non fiction, and works are often categorised according to historical periods or their adherence to certain aesthetic features or expectations.
