The Student

1. Tier 1: Some need a little help to get caught back up for the year but do not necessarily leave their class.

2. Tier 2: Some need more guidance, smaller groups and may leave the classroom for focused instruction.

3. Tier 3: Some need help in key areas outside the classroom year after year--these students will more than likely go through their school career with extra resources.

4. Self-Contained: Some will never be in a traditional classroom. They will be in a self contained room changing grade level based on age not education abilities.
