I am currently recording the works that I have completed this year. I have done this in hopes that you will get to know me better and experience what my progress in High School has been like. During my course as a freshman, I feel that I have most improved my skills in writing essays. The very first essay I wrote for english class got a B, but it deserved it. I had made a last minute attempt to try to fit scrambled words together. It made no sense at all and I was surprised at the grade I had gotten. If a college teacher had looked at it, I would have flunked that paper for sure. As the year progresses, I became more comfortable with the writing style and learn to write in a way that lets the words flow with a sense of organization.I am creating this portfolio about my freshman year. I followed all the standard and listed some of my assignments under each standard. Through the year the assignment were hard ,but following the standard was easy. Learning the standard was easier. Especially because there\'s only 8 of them. I am proving that I did work this year and that I paid attention. As you can see I did.I went through a lot of difficult times during this year because there was some stuff I had no idea how to work. New tech was also pretty difficult because the teachers expect you to be right on it right when they give it to you. Some times its easy, but most of the time is difficult. I did get through it all though.

New tech will give you a lot of challenges ,but as long as you do what I do which is pay attention, take notes, and do your work you will get good grades. New tech is all about taking notes. You never want to go to school without some paper. Even though we\'re new tech you always need a pen or pencil also.
